In a bid to raise funds for war efforts, Ukraine’s government has launched a website to receive NFT and crypto donations. Donated NFTs will then be listed for bidding on OpenSea under the UkrainianCryptoFund collection. So far, there are 295 NFTs in the collection.
With the platform endorsed by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, we have seen the community donate sought-after NFTs such as CryptoPunks and mfer to the website. Out of the mfers donated, one of them, mfer#3938, has an asking price of 5 ETH on OpenSea right now.
Ukraine launches a website for NFT and crypto donations
According to the website, all NFT proceeds will go to the non-profit Aid For Ukraine. In particular, the funds will be used to support humanitarian aid programs in the country. If you’re not holding any NFT, you can choose to donate crypto on the website too.
