The Duppies NFT community came alive recently as the official Twitter account got hacked. Apparently, some wallets were drained after they clicked on the ‘stealth mint’ link. Since then, the Solana community, the DeGods NFT community, and the Duppies NFT community were actively tweeting to warn more people not to click on any links from that Twitter account.
What happened to the Duppies NFT Twitter account?
Basically, there was an announcement on the Duppies NFT Twitter account saying that there was a stealth mint going on. By following the link, users effectively gave up control to their NFT wallets. According to Twitter user @Helloimmorgan, several wallets have already been drained through this hack.
Since then, the team has contacted Twitter Support, requesting them to shut down the page. This is to prevent anymore community members from falling for the exploit. They are even giving out free $DUST to random accounts that help them to…
